For those of you who like to enjoy the beauty of your flower garden, garden lights can be a great addition to enhance the gardens appearance.  If you are like me you like to be outside and enjoy the beauty of your yard for as long as possible.  Outdoor lighting allows you to extend the amount of time you are able to appreciate your plants and flowers.  These lights are relatively inexpensive and easy to install.  If you are not very handy don’t be intimidated by this project.  Some of you might be thinking “if I want garden lights I will need to call a landscape architect”.  I’m here to tell you that there is really no need to outsource this project.  Save yourself the money and install the lighting yourself.  There are numerous styles and brands to choose from, and you should not have any trouble buying exactly what you desire.  Some of the more common types of outdoor lights are; garden lights, patio umbrella lights, string lights, solar pond lights, pathway lights etc.  Solar garden lights are a great choice as they are easy to install.  Just simply use the same creativity that you used to plant the garden to install these lights.  Survey the area and decide where the solar lights would look best.  All you need to do now is to push them into the soil.  This can be done with your hand or by lightly taping with a rubber mallet.  Solar lighting is obviously better for the environment than traditional lights. Using the internet to do your shopping is an excellent Idea.  You can find what you want without leaving the comfort of your home. Many online stores have excellent selections and great values.  Whatever lights you choose have fun lighting up the night with garden lights.
